With Covid-19 restrictions being lifted in Ireland last week, we listed 10 reopened Restaurants & Cafés that are within walking distance of GoBases in 7 different counties.
We want to support local Irish businesses and we also know our members LOVE coffee (and tea!) so we went on a search around our GoBases to find great local Irish coffee shops that blend delicious goodness from the best coffee beans. Check them out below:
1. Proper Order Coffee, Dublin
If you’re using our Haymarket GoBase in Smithfield you won’t miss Proper Order Coffee as it’s right next door! Their coffee & nibbles are delish, we are speaking from previous experience!

2. Alma, Dublin
Portobello was voted one of the most hipster neighborhoods in Europe last year and walking into Alma you definitely get a great vibe as well as coffee with an Argentinian twist. They are within walking distance of a number of GoBases in the South Portobello area near the canal including Victoria Street, Heytesbury Street & Stamer Street.
3. Lab 82, Cork
You’ll find this popular coffee spot with Corkonians just across the road from Kent Station (also the name & location of our GoBase) which has also been voted best coffee at the best of Cork awards 2019.
4. Abbey River Coffee, Limerick
Located on the banks of the River Shannon, Abbey River Coffee is the perfect location for a Limerick city centre sip & stroll. They even whip up some delish iced coffee if that picks your fancy. Find them just across the bridge from our Charlottes Quay GoBase
5. COCO Cafe, Salthill, Galway
Looking for great coffee with a view? COCO Cafe and a stroll down Salthill promenade is something many Galwegians have experienced and come back again and again to savior. The delish coffee spot is only down the road from our Rockbarton Road GoBase.
6. Coffee Depot, Dundalk
Based opposite the Dundalk Bus depot and right beside our GoBase of the same name is Coffee Depot which serves up gorgeous coffee and food from doughnuts to breakfast to a chicken curry.

7. Maison Moli, Bray
If you take a quick walk around the corner from our Herbert Road Car Park GoBase in Bray you will find Maison Moli which is super popular amongst the locals for their gorgeous coffee but also tasty & healthy grub to keep your taste buds happy.
8. Solstice Cafe & Gallery, Navan
This multipurpose centre not only provides great coffee and grub in their cafe but also includes a gallery and cinema! The centre is just located around the corner from our Europcar – Academy Street GoBase in Navan.
9. The Coffee Box, Drogheda
This super popular coffee spot is just up the road from our Fair Street GoBase in Drogheda. The Coffee Box not only supplies quality coffee beans to go or to take home but also beanies with some cool clothing such has sweaters and bobble hats with a musical theme.
10. Wilde & Green, Milltown, Dublin
We finish off with a popular South Dublin coffee spot where we have one of our two Milltown GoBases with this one so close to Wilde & Green we use it in the name of the GoBase as a reference point. Grab a delightful coffee and sambo from here and you certainly won’t be disappointed!
