The safety of GoCar staff and members continues to be our priority as outlined below. While many businesses are reopening, we’re conscious that demand is picking up and would advise to book early!
We continue to enhanced cleaning protocols for our fleet.
Cars are being cleaned multiple times per week, dependent on usage. We are using disinfectant to wipe down all surfaces inside the cars during these cleans.
We continue to manage our fleet to reduce usage of individual cars
We are actively observing busier vehicle schedules and moving customers from these to quieter cars nearby wherever possible. This will reduce the number of people in a car between cleans. You may notice some changes in locations of some vehicles to support this. We recommend you use the ‘Search by Time’ feature in our app to find the nearest free vehicle to you for the time you need it. In order to help us to manage the fleet in this manner, we will also be temporarily moving the standard minimum booking time back to 1 hour, and the standard gap between bookings to 1 hour.

> Bring your facemask and hand sanitiser as you would with most trips outside your home
> Only share a GoCar with members of your own household as per HSE guidelines

Wipe down the main touchpoints that you will be touching during your booking

Refrain from touching your face (especially around your eyes, mouth or nose) while driving
Sanitise hands after each visit to shops or other places of business
Remove and dispose of any waste, cleaning utensils, disposable masks, etc.
Leave the GoCar as you would like to find it
Ensure your GoCar is locked before walking away, as with all bookings
